What the site uses
Cookies are small browser records. The current application uses them for sign-in, request security and protecting a checkout draft. They are not evidence that a reservation is confirmed.
- Authentication and security: Auth.js session, callback and request-verification cookies keep sign-in working and protect its flow. Session configuration allows up to 30 days, subject to expiry, renewal, sign-out and revocation; individual security cookies can be shorter-lived. Secure deployment may change cookie prefixes.
- Checkout ownership: a cookie named
checkout_followed by the draft identifier protects access to that draft. It is configured for one hour. The inventory hold has its own shorter deadline shown in checkout; the cookie does not extend it. - Provider and browser preferences: hosting security, optional Google sign-in, embedded payment components and language preferences may use their own cookies or storage when those features are used. Their duration depends on the provider and browser. Stripe's test-payment component is still an external service.
Your choices
This release does not configure advertising pixels, behavioural advertising or a general analytics-cookie programme. It does not offer an “accept all” advertising banner. We must reassess notice and consent before adding nonessential tracking; using the site is not consent to undisclosed tracking.
You can inspect, delete or block cookies using your browser controls. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in, security checks or draft access. An external camp site sets its own rules. Clearing cookies does not cancel a booking, delete your account or erase provider records. Contact charles@predictive.company about a cookie or unexpected tracker and include its name, not its value.
